Three almost four years ago now I finished my first Kindle publication. A trilogy about the evolution of an AI into a sentient being. In one of the books, my characters encountered a young disfigured girl who had spent most of her life as a slave. Little did I know at the time of writing my first story that this little girl would take my life over.
